This entry-level course is ideal for anyone with a basic background in weight training who wants to deepen their understanding of strength training principles and learn the core techniques used in British Weight Lifting programs.

Practical Workshop

The 4-hour practical session will teach you the key positions for the BWL strength training barbell exercises.

Strength training can improve your flexibility, mobility, improve performance in all sport and lower your risk of injury.

During the workshop you will concentrate on:

• BWL Strength Training Exercises - Back Squat, Press, Deadlift and more.

• Power Clean

• BWL Teaching Exercises

• BWL Key Positions

What will I be qualified to do?

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to better understand what safe and effective lifting technique looks like for your own lifting. There is no certification on completion of this course.

How long does it take to complete the course?

• 3 hours of e-learning

• 4 hours (half day) practical session
