Who is the course for?

  • The BWL training camp is ideal for aspiring athletes, gym enthusiasts, or Personal Trainers looking to develop their understanding around optimal Olympic Weightlifting technique

 

What does the course cover?

The training camp will include:

  • A technical session on the Snatch
  • A technical session on the Clean & Jerk
  • A training Session and Q&A with a GB International athlete 

You will learn the key positions for each of the Olympic lifts and learn how to capture your very own technical series that you will get to take away with you.

The technical series will help inform what you will need to work on to improve your lifts and individualised technical feedback will also be given to you by the BWL educators and athlete.

 

What will I be qualified to do?

  • Upon completion of this course, you will be able to identify the key positions in both the Snatch and Clean & Jerk for your own lifting.
  • There is no certification on completion of this course

 

How long does it take to complete the course?

•             7 hours (1 full day) practical at Training Camp

Prerequisites

  • You must be above the age of 14 years old
  • You must have some general experience of the lifts
